The best 17 barrels of each harvest were the winemaker’s selects to present the absolute expression and potential of the Amyndeon viticulture zone.
Rich, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, a quite complex bouquet with the typical aromas of the variety, rich and well-structured tannins, and a highly balanced flavour that leads to a long-lasting aftertaste. Aeration enhances its organoleptic characteristics and for this reason, decanting for at last one hour before drinking is recommended.
Paired with fatty meat, grilled on in creamy sauces, cooked with vegetables, roots and wine. A joy for marinated game, with chestnuts and plums, as well as for mature creamy cheeses with intense and full favour. Best served at 16-18 °C.
